In the Medieval period this was part of the feudal property of the powerful Natta marquisate. Around the castle you will be able to take in the estate’s vineyards. The guided tour of the castle and cellars also includes an aperitif with a tasting session of wines produced on the estate, accompanied by local salamis and cheeses. After the visit you will be taken to the nearby village of Montechiaro d’ Asti to enjoy some traditional Piedmontese specialities at the “Tre Colli “ restaurant (www.trecolli.com). This restaurant features in the main national and international food and wine guides. Sisters Sara and Patrizia will guide you through traditional and new dishes, with a cuisine based on the very best raw materials that the local area has to offer. The restaurant is intimate and atmospheric, and has a stunning garden with beautiful views.
